Post Mission Data Access:Data analysis and viewing done using the NovAtel GISMO software (version 1).
  • Post-mission analysis shows standard deviation of collected positional data for both post-processed and real-time positions.
  • No indicators/flags as to whether a data point was RTCM-corrected or uncorrected. The method used to distiguish between corrected and uncorrected points was to view the standard deviation associated with each point.
  • The user can also export the individual data fixes to an ASCII file and import into a spreadsheet for further analysis, however, this is a somewhat time consuming method.
  • There are a number of tools for dissecting and analyzing the data (e.g., satellite residual plots, etc.).
General Notes:
  • In order to utilize the RTCM features of the GISMO, you may need to consult your GISMO equipment dealer for additional information to that which is supplied in the User's Manual.
