The information supplied in the details below is based upon information provided to BMGS. It does not necessarily represent the views of the manufacturer or its representatives, unless it has been supplied by them as noted below. This information is provided solely for the purpose of assisting CDGPS users. Please consult your GPS receiver User's Manual and/or Dealer for more complete instructions on using the features of your GPS receiver.

Data Input/Output Port: Set up input RTCM on COM1 with the “GPS Controller” software.
Supplied RTCM Cable: Part Number/Manufacturer: _normal MODEM cable DB9F to DB9F.
Cable & Connectors Used in BMGS Testing: Using the above cable, a null modem IS NOT required.
Antenna: Internal
RTCM Reception Indication: On GeoXT “GPS Controller” software, under the real-time page, reports “External source – In Use or Waiting”
Post Mission Data Access: NMEA positions logged in ArcPad as shapefile
General Notes: General Notes: CDGPS must be set up in the “GPS Controller” software as the external source. The “GPS controller” software must be running during data collection, or the receiver will stop computing differential positions after the age-of-corrections limit has timed out.
